Front cover design

This is my school magazine front cover, i have kept it similar to the contents page so it looks neat and they both have the same colour scheme.

This is my final design of my contents page which i made in indesign.
I chose the different shades of green because it went with the schools logo, and i will continue to use green throughout the college magazine.

From making my contents page i have learnt a lot about adobe Indesign and Photoshop, and now have access to them both on my laptop for further use.

Analysed college magazine

The image above Is a print screen of a task I had to do in lesson, that task was to analyse 4 college magazine front covers.

I chose this one out of the 4 other front covers to upload because this had a lot more detail to analyse, for example there's a Olympic torch logo on the top right of the front cover so this could mean that this was published around the same time as the Olympics.
There is a lot more to say about this college magazine front cover so that was the main reason why i chose to upload it.

Analyse NME front cover

This print screen shows an analysed NME front cover, at home i copy and pasted a front cover image of NME music magazine, i analysed all the features and put feedback on my thoughts of the magazine. I also talked about the target audience this magazine was targeted at by how the text was presented and also the words used. In one of the cover lines on this magazine there is a swear word so that already shows this particular magazine was aimed at a teen + audience. One other thing i found interesting was the crown on the dominant images head (Tyler The Creator). To have a crown on your head must mean your a really important person so this image is representing Tyler as a king.
